Rusal International PJSC, the largest aluminum producer outside China, may restrict exports of the metal after the tariffs imposed on shipments take effect next month.
The company exports about 3 million tons of aluminum each year, and this year may reduce its sales of aluminum by hundreds of thousands of tons because the taxation will make some shipments unprofitable, according to Roman Andrewshen, head of domestic market and China sales.
